Xxx Xxxxx Xx Xxxxxxxxx is the President’s Distinguished Professor at Xxxxxxxxxx Xxxxx Xxxxxxxxxx. Xxxxxxx has over 40 years of professional academic teaching experience in organic chemistry and almost 20 years of litigation experience. Xxxxxxx was appointed as Science Innovation Advisor to XXX Xxxxxxxxxxxxx. Xxxxxxx serves as the Chief Science Officer of the preclinical company XxxxxXxxx Xxxxxxxxxxxx. His research includes phospholipids in cell signaling, synthetic matrices for regenerative medicine, and anti-inflammatory glycosaminoglycans. Xxxxxxx co-founded eleven companies, including Xxxxxxx Biosciences, Xxxxxxxx BioSystems, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Care, XxxxxXxxx Therapeutics, Xxxxxxxx Biomaterials, Xxxxx Xxxxxxxxx Biomedical, and Xxxxxx Xxxxxxxxxxx Xxxxxxxxxx, and Xxxxx Discoveries. Xxxxxxx advises several startups, including Xxxxxx, Xxxxxxx, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx, and others. During his 42 years as a faculty member, xx xxx over 665 publications and over 48 issued patents, and has trained over 125 postgraduate scientists. Xxx Xxxxxxxxx holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from the Xxxxxxxxxx Xxxxxxxxx xx Xxxxxxxxxx and a XxXxxxxx in Organic Chemistry from Xxxxxxxx Xxxxxxxxxx.
