Biography

Dr. Xxxxxxx is an Emeritus Extension Professor at the Xxxxxxxxxx xx Xxxxx and has over 46 years of experience in potato production and safety. Well-known as a scientist and educator in many potato-growing areas of the world, xxxxxxx has shared his expertise globally in potato-growing regions. Xxxxxxx was responsible for creating a potato harvest safety program, which drastically reduced injuries. Xxxxxxx has also created disease forecasting software for late blight and early blight prediction. The software targets region-specific weather patterns and has been used throughout the United States. Dr. Xxxxxxx holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Plant Pathology from xxx Xxxxxxxxxx xx Xxxxxxx.
