Biography

Xxxx Xxxx is Principal at XxxxxXxxxxxxxxxxx Xxxx, with over 40 years of hands-on experience in semiconductor fabrication and processing. Xxxxxxx provides technical consulting for Top 50 semiconductor companies and does expert witness work for patent and business issues. Prior to starting xxxxxxxx consulting firm, xxxxxxx served as the Xxxxx Xxxxxxxxxxxx at Xxxxxxxx Xxxxxxxxxxxxx, where xxxxxxx developed and designed CMOS sensors and systems built using bonded substrate wafers and multichip modules using 45nm double-gate FET technology. Prior to this, Mr. Xxxx worked in nanotechnology for Xxxxxxxx Xxxxxxx (making automatic tools) and was a Managing Director at Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxxxxxxxx, where xxxxxxx managed a business unit that designed five new programmable logic chip product families. Xxxxxxx was also the Vice President of Technology Development at Xxxxx, where xxxxxxx managed both technology development and design teams that built the company’s 200mm wafer fabrication facility, designed Z8 microcontrollers, and engineered scaling of CMOS and embedded CMOS non-volatile memory technologies from 2um to 0.25um. Xxx Xxxx attained his MS in Management from Xxxxxxxx Xxxxxxxxxx.
