Biography

Dr. Xxxxxxx is currently a Professor of Weed Science at Xxxxxx Xxxxxxxxxx and has over 30 years of experience in weed science. Xxxxxxxx professional responsibilities include leading weed science extension research and education efforts in agronomic crops by maintaining and enhancing the close working relationships between xxxxxxxx university and farmers, extension educators, and the crop protection industry. Xxxxxxxx responsibilities also include developing economically and environmentally sound weed management systems for major agronomic crops and disseminating information to appropriate clientele. Xxxxxxx conducts applied research addressing current and potential weed management challenges facing crop producers. Xxxxxxx has experience conducting educational programs for crop advisors and industry personnel on the proper use of herbicides, the identification of weeds, and herbicide injury to crops. Dr. Xxxxxxx holds a Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Agronomy from the Xxxxxxxxxx xx Xxxxxxxx.
